While Hydroseeding is an excellent way to seed a new lawn it is not always the best choice for all situations.
Sod is a good choice if:
1. You need an instant lawn. (Ex. Rental Home)
2. You only need grass in a small area.
3. The area is subject to heavy water runoff.
4. You cannot water multiple times per day.
5. You will not be able maintain a seeded lawn until it becomes fully established.
There are different varieties of sod grown at our local sod farms, but it may be limited to seasonal availability.
